For Newcastle businesses taking bookings by phone
Taking bookings online is mostly a scheduling decision, and only afterwards a website one.

Since it went live my phone hasn’t stopped ringing.
He created a stunning website for us that captures and nurtures leads with an automated email marketing system, which has filled a huge gap in the business and saved a lot of time (and money!).
Reece has been generous, reliable and knowledgeable in creating an online presence for our sporting club. He is good to work with and has good technical abilities.
A website that takes online bookings in Newcastle is straightforward to build and easy to get wrong, and the difficulty is almost never technical.
Every problem with online booking comes back to the same thing: whether the website knows what your real availability is.
How long each job actually takes, how much travel sits between them, and who is allowed to change the calendar. Those three decide whether online bookings help or hurt.
A booking form that does not understand the working day will fill it badly, and the result is worse than a phone call.
Double bookings, slots that ignore travel, and a form so long that people give up and ring anyway. All three come from the calendar rather than the website.
The website is only ever showing what the calendar tells it, so a booking problem is nearly always a calendar problem wearing a website costume.
The phone gets quieter in a useful way, and the bookings that arrive are the ones you can actually service.
The point is not to stop people ringing. It is to stop the ones who only wanted a time slot from having to.
Taking money at the same time is a separate decision, and a website that takes payments covers deposits and invoices without a shop.

Most can. The work is in the calendar rules rather than the website, which is why two businesses with similar sites get very different results.
Only the calls that were only ever about finding a time. Quotes and emergencies still come by phone, which is usually what you want.
Two calendars that do not talk to each other. One calendar as the single source of truth removes the problem entirely.
If you go to the customer, yes. Slots without travel time look efficient and produce a day that cannot be worked.
One monthly fee covering everything, month to month, no lock-in. The number depends on the business and gets given on the call.
