spareday is based at 12 Grey Street, Wickham, five minutes from Newcastle city. Everything is run from here, so the suburbs people actually type are ones we already know, and we can meet you rather than call you from another state.
The area we cover is the one a Newcastle business realistically serves. Newcastle itself and the inner suburbs, Mayfield, Hamilton, Islington, Wickham, Adamstown, Merewether and New Lambton. South through Kotara and Charlestown into Lake Macquarie, Belmont and Warners Bay. West to Maitland and Cessnock through the Hunter Valley. North across the bridge to Port Stephens, Nelson Bay and Raymond Terrace.
That spread is the reason local search is worth doing properly. Google does not show the same three businesses to someone in Merewether and someone in Maitland, so a listing that ranks well near your own address can be invisible twenty minutes away. Working out where you already show, and where you do not, is the first thing we do.
You do not have to be inside that area to work with us, because most of what we do happens on a screen. Being based here matters for one thing in particular: knowing which suburbs are worth ranking in and which ones never send you work.
Every one of those areas is its own search with its own answer, so each has been written up on its own. What is worth doing first in a tight strip like Hamilton is not what is worth doing first across something the size of Lake Macquarie.
